Are you a lion living like a housecat?
You look fine on paper. The career holds. The house holds. And somewhere in there you stopped being able to feel any of it — moving through the days like a well-fed animal that forgot it used to hunt.
This won't fix your life. It'll take two minutes and tell you one true thing. Answer fast. Don't think — that's the whole point.
When did you last do something for no good reason — just because the wild part of you wanted to?
If you have to scroll back years, that's the read.
If your life kept going exactly like this for five more years — same job, same rooms, same weekends — what rises first: relief, or dread?
Notice the dread you've been calling "fine."
There's a change you already know you need to make. You've known for a while. What is it?
You didn't have to think, did you. That's not confusion. That's a caged answer.
You think the numbness is the problem. That you're broken, checked out, maybe a little depressed.
A truly domesticated animal doesn't ache. The numbness is the proof the wild thing is still alive in there. If you were actually dead inside, you wouldn't feel the pull. The ache is the lion, pacing the cage.
You're not broken. You're caged. That's a different problem — and a fixable one.
And the change you "can't pull the trigger" on? You keep aiming it at the big leap — quit, blow up the life. That's why it won't fire. You don't need the leap today. You need proof, in your body, that the lion still moves.
60 seconds — do it now, before you close this
Feel that flicker? That heat, that slight embarrassment, that aliveness? That's the whole point. You just proved it. The lion's still in there.
That was one small crossing. I'll send you five — one small wild move a day, for five days. Enough to feel the difference between numb and caged, in your own body.
And when you're ready to meet the animal you've been keeping quiet — the disowned, exiled, wild parts — that's shadow work. It's the first real door. Start here, at your own pace.
Fear isn't the enemy. It's the compass.
